Questions
Do I need to host with you?+
Yes. A care plan sits on top of our hosting, because we can only look after a website we can get at. If your website is somewhere else, we can move it across for you.
What counts as a small change?+
Updating text, swapping photos, changing opening hours or prices, adding a menu item or a new member of staff. Email or chat it over and we'll do it. If it turns out bigger than that, we'll say so and tell you the cost before we start.
What happens if my website goes down at night?+
We check it every 15 minutes, day and night. If it fails two checks in a row, we email you straight away, get on with fixing it, and email again when it's back.
What's in the monthly health check?+
A short email in plain English: whether your website stayed up, when its security certificate renews, how quickly it loads, and anything our checks found, such as broken links or things that stop Google reading it properly. On Care and Care Plus we fix what we find.
How does the free website work?+
Join Care for 12 months and we don't charge the £49 for your website. After the 12 months the website is still yours, whether you stay with us or not.
I already host with you. Does anything change?+
Not unless you want it to. Your hosting price stays the same. If you'd like a care plan, just ask.
