Surf Guru is our own website, a UK surf guide that has been running since 2008. In 2026 we rebuilt it from scratch as a modern surf forecasting service, keeping its community and archive while replacing everything underneath.
Forecasts that understand each beach
Every break gets a seven-day forecast, adjusted for the direction the beach faces and for the shape of the seabed in front of it. We measure how exposed each break is to the open sea using official seabed depth data, so a swell that lights up one beach and misses the next is shown that way. Swell, wind and tide are labelled clearly, and missing data is never shown as a flat sea.

Forecast data comes from national weather services and open marine models, with tidal data from the Admiralty.
