Warp It is a reuse platform that lets organisations pass on furniture, equipment and supplies they no longer need, first inside their own organisation, then to partners and local charities. It is used by universities, councils, NHS trusts, schools and charities across the UK, with regional sites in Australia, Canada, the US, New Zealand, Ireland and Spain.
We have designed, built and developed Warp It for more than a decade, and it remains one of our flagship projects.
The numbers on the live site
As of October 2026, Warp It's public counters show over £56 million of cost avoided, around 25,000 tonnes of CO₂e saved, more than 7,600 tonnes of waste diverted from disposal and over £8.6 million worth of items donated to charity.
What the platform does
- Each organisation gets its own portal, with its own rules on who can see and claim items, and when
- Items move from internal colleagues, to partner organisations, to charities, on a schedule the portal administrator controls
- Search by category, a live activity feed and leaderboards that show how much each organisation has saved
- Automatic reporting on money, carbon and waste saved, for sustainability and procurement teams
- An ROI calculator and self-service pricing, with free portals for single-site charities and schools
- Scheduled reminders, claim notifications and loan tracking, all running in the background
The 2026 redesign
In 2026 we launched a redesigned Warp It: a cleaner, faster interface, a clearer route from first visit to a working portal, and new tools for showing the impact each organisation is making.
